How did you get started in your role?
I became a Trainee at Bokio after working in Support, and have been trying to develop my skills from being an artist/writer in my Design Craft.
How do you incorporate the apps in your design process?
I use them throughout my design process, everything from defining what I need to deliver to actual testing documentation.
What books do you recommend?
What are the responsibilities of your role?
Research, testing, branding, overall business strategies.
What difficulties do you encounter in your role?
The structure of the company, and too many stakeholders.
What advice would you give to your younger self trying to get into the field of design?
Keep calm and trust that your instincts and potential will guide you.
Do you have any regrets in your journey in becoming a designer?
Yes, I would have wanted more guidance on what to focus on. The design field is huge, and having some constraints would've helped my confidence.
As a designer how do you stay inspired?
Reading books, attending webinars and meet-ups, exploring new trends and mentoring foreign talent.
