How did you get started in your role?
I loved video games, movies, and writing as a kid...all narrative driven
What apps do you use to help you design?
How do you incorporate the apps in your design process?
I use Mirro as a project tracker home, with visual development, product reference, storyboards, figma links from other designers, etc. all located in one place.
What books do you recommend?
What are the responsibilities of your role?
As a 3D motion designer, telling stories through motion, I have to create the idea of a motion piece, develop the look of the piece, with authentic product accuracy, and bring it all to life through movement.
What difficulties do you encounter in your role?
Communication with clients whom don't understand the weight/cost/time associated with their changes
What advice would you give to your younger self trying to get into the field of design?
Create more often without the fear of imperfection.
Do you have any regrets in your journey in becoming a designer?
I stood in my own way with self-doubt at every step, despite continuing on a healthy progression. Even today.

Nature, seeing creative work outside of my field, movies
